Homecoming 2019 Update

As we get closer to UNL’s Homecoming Week (September 29 – October 5) we want to equip you with additional information and bullets to share. Feel free to use all/any of these in newsletters, with local media, through social media, and/or in other ways as you see appropriate.

There are amazing things happening and we encourage our entire state to take part. You can check out the details at: https://n150.unl.edu/homecoming

Also, if you have any local events happening to celebrate homecoming week or great homecoming stories that should be shared, please let Kathleen Lodl know and we will forward. It’s another way to celebrate: The Time to Come Home!

There is no place like Nebraska, and there's no celebration quite like this year's homecoming! In honor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's 150th birthday, you’re invited to come home and celebrate 150 years of Grit and Glory at the Cornstock Festival. Activities include performances by parade participants, music, food trucks, games for students, adults and children, face painting, t-shirt printing, and more! Special appearances from Chancellor Green, Bill Moos, Fred Hoiberg and Hannah Huston! There is something for all Huskers to get in the Nebraska spirit, so stop by the Memorial Stadium East Plaza between 4:30-9:30 to partake!
