In 2021, Nebraska Extension offices/units took advantage of a new submission process for Emergency Action Plans (EAPs). Focused on engagement zones, submission windows were created to allow for targeted training opportunities and time for a quality review of EAPs.
The numbers are in! Nearly 93% of Nebraska Extension offices/units participated in the 2021 EAP submission process. This is a 40% increase in EAPs submitted and approved. Twenty-six offices/units developed and submitted an EAP for the first time. Thanks to all of these offices/units for their commitment to preparedness.
