
Do you often struggle to find motivation to include fruits and vegetables in your meals? Are you in a rut with finding creative recipes that incorporate color and flavor? This personal challenge is here to help!
The purpose of this challenge is to bring more awareness to how often we consume fruits and vegetables and to find motivation to regularly incorporate them into our diet. Over the course of the three weeks, we will:
Record how often we are eating fruits and vegetables
Find creative ways to increase our fruit and vegetable intake
Incorporate new fruits and vegetables into our weekly meal rotation
Each week of the challenge we will focus on a new goal:
Week 1: Build a habit of recording how often you consume fruits and vegetables.
Week 2: Using the MyPlate Plan maker, calculate what your goal fruit and vegetable intake should be and aim to reach a minimum 50% of that daily fruit and vegetable goal.
Week 3: Using the plan in week 2, aim to reach a minimum of 75% of that goal AND try at least 1 new fruit and vegetable this week.
Challenge registration opens on March 3, 2025. The challenge begins on March 10, 2025.
