As the director of admissions I am excited to share that with a 5.2% increase to more than 4,650 students, this fall UNL enrolled the second-largest class in our history and the biggest since 1979.
This class is a reflection of your commitment to increasing UNL’s enrollment. As extension faculty and staff, you serve as UNL’s front door in many Nebraska communities. Last year, Extension set aggressive recruitment goals—not only did you meet them, but you exceeded them. You should feel pride in this year’s enrollment growth, as UNL, experienced a 5.4% increase in resident students.
We are only successful with the support of each of you. Thank you for all you do. I look forward to another exciting year.
