4-H Events Open to All Youth

CAT SHOW — Saturday, Jan. 6, 9 a.m. at the Sandhill Global Event Center (formerly Lancaster Event Center), 84th & Havelock, Lincoln in the Lancaster County Farm Bureau Room (by the Extension 4-H office and South Hall). Open to all youth ages 8–18 with a Clover Kids opportunity for youth 5–7. Register at show. Cost is $2 per class or $5 for unlimited classes. DOG WORKSHOPS, January through May — 6 p.m. on Thursdays, Jan. 11, Feb. 8, Mar. 21, Apr. 11 and May 9 at the Greater Lincoln Obedience Club, 5740 Johanna Road, Bay 4, Lincoln. Open to all youth ages 8–18 and their families. Learn about obedience, beginning steps of training, etc. Cost per participating youth is $10 for each workshop or $40 for all five. Please register and pay online with PayPal at https://go.unl.edu/4hdog24 at least two days prior to each workshop.

WILDLIFE WONDERS EVENT — Saturday, Feb. 3, 10 a.m.–12 p.m. at the Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County conference rooms, 444 Cherrycreek Road, Suite A, Lincoln. Open to all youth ages 5–18 and their families. No cost to attend. Sessions/activities include: guest speakers, games and crafts. Register by Friday, Jan. 26 with name, age and grade of youth to ethiltges2@unl.edu or 402-441-7180.
