Deb Faith of Lincoln is receiving the Lancaster County 4‑H July “Heart of 4‑H Award” in recognition of outstanding volunteer service. For over 14 years, she has helped in a wide variety of ways:
• As a parent helper with the 4‑H Explorers and Sew Green 4‑H clubs.
• As organizational leader for the Villa Marie Eagles 4‑H club.
• Assisting with club community service projects such as litter pickup and Kiwanis Karnival.
• Helping at the Lancaster County Super Fair with static exhibit set-up, during interview judging and at 4‑H Council’s food stand.
Deb says, “I like helping youth see all the great opportunities that they can do. I like seeing youth blossom into leaders and gain confidence in themselves and the new skills they learn through 4‑H. 4‑H gives youth life long skills and helps them find possible job opportunities and/or hobbies.”
