The Institute for Law Teaching and Learning has issued the Fall 2012 issue of The Law Teacher and also made two important announcements. Here is the link for issue: http://lawteaching.org/lawteacher/2012fall/lawteacher2012fall.pdf

The two announcements are:

1. This spring's Institute for Law Teaching and Learning Conference will focus on adjunct faculty.  Scheduled as a one-day workshop on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Western State College of Law, the conference is designed for adjunct faculty and the administrators charged with overseeing adjunct faculty.  Topics include course design, teaching methods, objectives, and assessment.

2. The Call for Proposals (on page 35) for this summer's Institute for Law Teaching and Learning Conference.  The conference, entitled "Hybrid Law Teaching," focuses on a relatively recent phenomenon in legal education, law school courses and programming that bridge two or more areas of emphasis, such as courses that bridge clinical and doctrinal subjects, courses that bridge two or all three of the  Carnegie apprenticeships, courses that bring together law students and students of other disciplines (such as business and engineering), and courses co-taught by adjuncts and full-time faculty.
