Four more UNL Law Professors will give S.T.I.R. talks this spring, continuing the successful new tradition begun in the fall. Professors give S.T.I.R. talks to the entire law school community on a topic of their choice in a casual setting. But, here is the catch - they can only speak for 15 minutes. Afterwards, the audience lingers to think deep thoughts inspired by the talk, and also to eat and drink the free refreshments provided by the College. Last semesters S.T.I.R. talks attracted an average of 100 people from the law school community.
Professor Frans von der Dunk will kick off the Spring S.T.I.R. talks on January 10 at 4:00 PM. The title of his talk is "Fly me to the Moon - or at least to Tokyo in 90 minutes, soon".
Professors Ruser (TBA), Shoemaker (March 14), and Blankley (April 11) will also give S.T.I.R. talks this semester.
