Professor Beth Burkstrand-Reid presented her research on sexuality and reproduction at the American University's symposium Gender Matters: Women, Social Policy, and the 2012 Election.
The meeting brought together legal scholars from across the country to discuss the ramifications of the re-election of President Barack Obama for women and was sponsored by the American University Journal of Gender, Social Policy and the Law. Burkstrand-Reid's latest research on sexuality and the law will be published in the Hastings Law Journal in December 2013.
