Professors Harvey Perlman and Eric Berger led a group of 21 students in China for the Comparative Chinese Law summer study abroad course.
Professor Berger was also interviewed by a variety of media outlets in regard to Nebraska’s death penalty laws and the execution of Carey Dean Moore. Those publications included: Lincoln Journalstar, the Omaha World-Herald, Nebraska Radio Network, the Canadian Broadcast Corporation, The Economist, CNN, KLIN, WOWT, KLON, KLKN, KMTV and the Associated Press. He also gave a Constitution Day presentation at the University of Nebraska-Omaha on the Supreme Court in transition and published op eds in the Omaha World Herald and Lincoln Journal Star opposing a constitutional convention.
