3Ls Repeat as Regional Champions in Client Counseling Competition

Two Nebraska Law teams ran nearly neck-and-neck to take first and second place at the ABA Law Student Division's Regional Client Counseling competition, held at Creighton Law School. Audrey Johnson and Christine Baughman, both 3Ls, took first place in the competition, and will represent the Law College, and ABA Region 8, at the National Client Counseling Competition in North Carolina on March 16th and 17th. Trevin Preble and Andy Hanquist, both 2Ls placed a close second in the competition. This first and second finish is a first for the College.

So too is Christine's and Audrey's repeat first-place finish. When Audrey and Christine won the school competition four weeks ago, they became the first two students to ever win our intraschool competition two years in a row. They now have the honor of being the only law school team to ever win the Regional Competition two years in a row.
