Students who seek a particular focus during their time at the Law College may pursue a Program of Concentrated Study. The Law College has established Programs of Concentrated Study in Business Transactions, Intellectual Property, Litigation Skills and Solo and Small Firm Practice. A student is also able to pursue an Individualized Program of Concentrated Study in a variety of curricular areas upon consultation with faculty who teach in that area.
All students completing a Program of Concentrated Study will receive a notation on the student’s transcript and a certificate of recognition upon graduation.
If you are a third year student and wish to pursue an individualized Program of Concentrated Study, Intellectual Property or Solo/Small Firm Practice, you must complete the required forms no later than August 28, 2012. There is no deadline to sign up for the established Programs of Concentrated Study in Business Transactions or Litigation Skills. Second year students may sign up anytime this year.
For detailed descriptions of both established and individualized Programs of Concentrated Study, go to the Current Student page – Upperclass Information on the College of Law website.
