Mr. Thomas Monaghan who was the Director of the Department of Justice for the United Nations Mission in Kosovo from May 2004 through March 2006 will present on his experiences. Mr. Monaghan was also previously the United States Attorney for the District of Nebraska. He will discuss the judicial system in Kosovo with emphasis on its treatment of the substantial Turkish community in Kosovo.
Professor Kevin Ruser will also present and discuss his work in Kosovo with the ABA Central Eastern Europe Legal Initiative and his work with University Pristina Law Faculty in Pristina, Kosovo.
