Recycling Tip
Please pay attention to the signs on the trash and recycle bins. It's pretty simple: bottles in one, cans in the other, etc. The bins are picked up regularly by a devoted group of volunteer faculty and staff. Mixing up the contents makes gathering up the materials a chore. Let's help them out!

Careful With Personal Items
It's easy to feel relaxed and comfortable in the library. (We work hard to make it feel that way!) But please don't forget to use common sense when you get up from your carrel or table and either take your valuables with you or have someone nearby watch them for you. We are a public library so we can't vouch for everyone who's in the library at all times.
Tip of the Week: for Tablet Users
Those of you with tablets may either complain about attached keyboards, or using the on-screen virtual keyboard. If you are the sort of person who prefers to hand write notes at meetings or outlines of articles, etc., take a look at 7Notes HD Premium. It costs $7, and it takes a few minutes to get the hang of nuances of formatting, etc., but the cost and effort are well worth it. The handwriting recognition is uncannily accurate. If you pay the extra $2 to get the Evernote Add-on, you'll be further rewarded with very easy integration with Evernote. 7Notes is available for iPad, iPhone, Kindle Fire and Android devices.
