SENATE EXTERNSHIP IN WASHINGTON, DCThe faculty recently approved a new externship program, the United States Senate Externship Program. The program is a full-time placement for either the fall or spring semester with the Office of United States Senator Deb Fischer in Washington, D.C. The Sorensen Fellowship Fund awards scholarships (up to the amount of tuition and fees) to full-time third year law students who have demonstrated superior academic performance, are native Nebraskans or have graduated from a Nebraska High School, and have demonstrated a commitment to public affairs and public service.
