Please watch for information and a survey about the topics that you want us to cover. In the meantime, please send suggestions to any librarian….

A Bibliography of University of Nebraska College of Law Faculty Scholarship 1892-2013
We are excited to announce that the first title in Schmid Law Library’s Publication Series, A Bibliography of University of Nebraska College of Law Faculty Scholarship 1892-2013, is now in print. This remarkable bibliography was compiled by Professors Marcia Dority Baker and Stefanie Pearlman. You can see it online here: http://digitalcommons.unl.edu/lawlibrary/14/ Or please stop by the Reference Desk or Marcia's or Stefanie’s office to see a print copy. And be sure and offer them your congratulations!

NYTimes Digital Now Available!
The Schmid Law Library is pleased to announce the availability a new service, New York Times Digital.

This is a new service for the NYTimes. As such, the service isn’t yet perfected and has a few bugs yet to be ironed out. If you are interested in signing up, here’s how you can do it.

First, here are a few caveats that we know of:

1. If you already have your own paid subscription, you must logout of your online subscription first. Then log in according to the directions below. [NOTE: You will need to use a different email address from the one you’ve been using.]

2. The digital subscription will get you access to the full, online version on your computer through your web-browser. Once you register on campus, your subscription should then work anywhere on any computer with the credentials you created when you registered here.

3. The digital subscription will work with the mobile app on your smart phone, but not your tablet’s app. To access NYTimes digital on a tablet, you need to use your tablet’s browser, such as Safari, Chrome, etc. (I don’t understand why this is so, but NYTimes says that that’s just the way it is.)

To access our subscription, follow these steps:

1. If you are logged into your own personal subscription on your computer, log out.

2. Follow this link to register: http://nytimes.com/grouppass

3. Follow the directions to create an account. If you already have an account you must use a different email address to register under the new service. Once you create an account, remember the email address and password you used to create the account; these will be your log in credentials for access on all devices and computer.

This service is only available to students, faculty and staff of the law college.
Please let me know if you have questions or any problems with logging in or registering.
