The NSBA is offering to house resume books for 1L and 2L students as well as the 3L resumes collected last week. (These books are in addition to the Rural Practice Resume books that are already up on the website.) The resume book will be accessible by all attorney members in the password protected site.
We have encountered employers who want to "see what the pool looks like" before making that jump to add a clerk or an associate. This makes it much easier for them. Although this is the first time we have housed resumes on the NSBA website, we have used Class Resume Books in the past and have had some success. Some students have chosen to only include their phone number and e-mail on their resume they submitted for generally accessible resume books. This is entirely up to you.
If you are interested in participating, simply apply to posting #10919 and #10920 depending on your class year with your preferred resume and you will be included in the Class of 2015 or 2016 Resume Book. We will send whatever resumes are submitted to the NSBA at the end of the day on Thursday, March 13th.
