Arbitration Competition Meeting

Wednesday, September 10
12:10 p.m.
Room 131

2Ls & 3Ls –Are you looking for some great practical experience? Something that would look good on a resume? Consider the Arbitration Competition.

This competition is a one semester commitment, from late September to mid-November (or into January if you advance!). The competition involves advocacy and trial skills, including making opening/closing statements, examining witness, presenting evidence, making objections, and arguing the law. There is no brief writing required. The entire competition is performance based.

The competition teams will travel and represent the University of Nebraska to compete against law students from other schools.

At the meeting, I will give an overview of the competition, and past competitors will describe their experiences on the team.

Snacks will also be provided!
