New Scanner Now Available
One of the copiers on the first floor has been replaced by a new generation book scanner called a Book Eye. The planetary scanner allows users to scan books leaving them face-up. Scans of books can be emailed or downloaded to a flash drive. It is also possible to export the scan as a text document in RTF format. See any library staff member for help or questions about using the scanner.

Mini Golf in the Library
As the library’s contribution to the festivities surrounding Mel Shinn Day, we will be setting up a 9-hole mini golf course throughout the library. All the old holes are back, with a few new surprises. For new students, the course occupies a good portion of the first floor. There are only three holes upstairs, so please expect some distractions if you plan to use the first floor tables and carrels. The course will be available for tee-off at 8:00AM and will be open until 3:00PM.

Best of luck to all you duffers. Fore!

Locked Out of the Study Rooms?
The study rooms have been re-keyed with locks that will automatically lock when closed. Remember this when you leave a study room for any reason. This protects your belongings when you leave a room for a break. Be sure and take the key with you whenever you leave the room!
