EALS Farm Tour
EALS Farm Tour

The Environmental and Agricultural Law Society is hosting a farm tour for law students and faculty on Saturday, March 28. We will visit two to three farms on Saturday morning near Lincoln and return to the law school in the afternoon. During the tour, we will experience modern agricultural practices firsthand and hear from farmers about environmental issues and legal concerns they encounter on their farms. If you have never been to a farm, this is an awesome opportunity to learn more about where your food comes from. You will be fascinated by the technology these farmers use on their farms and the immense amount of care and work it takes to grow your food. If you have been to a farm or grew up on one, this will be a great chance for you to reconnect with your country roots and learn about current issues farmers and ranchers are facing. Transportation and lunch will be provided. If you are interested in attending or have any questions, please email Alissa Doerr at alissa_mae@live.com. A detailed agenda will be sent to those that RSVP. The event is sponsored by the Alliance for the Future of Agriculture in Nebraska and Nebraska Soybean Board.
