Applications for the Sorensen Fellowship

2Ls: Remember to submit your applications for the Sorensen Fellowship. The Theodore C. Sorensen Fellowship Fund awards scholarships to full-time third year law students who have demonstrated superior academic performance, are native Nebraskans or have graduated from a Nebraska High School, and have demonstrated a commitment to public affairs and to the public service of Nebraska or the United States or at the international level. "Public affairs" and "public service" include volunteer activities or employment in Nebraska, U.S., or international government; the uniformed services; public-interest organizations; nongovernmental research and/or educational organizations; and public-service oriented non-profit organizations, such as those whose primary purposes are to help needy or disadvantaged persons or to protect the environment. The Fund provides Fellowships up to the amount of tuition and fees. Each recipient of the fellowship shall be designated as a "Ted Sorensen Fellow."
