Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition

Tryouts for the 2011-2012 University of Nebraska College of Law Lachs Space Law Moot Court team will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 14. This competition is open to all law students. The Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition is organized annually by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) and last year the Nebraska Law team won the "Best Brief" award at the spring competition. The competition is based on a hypothetical space law dispute before the International Court of Justice. Oral arguments are held in Washington D.C. in April. Materials for tryout preparations will be distributed on or before September 6. You can sign up to tryout by visiting the Space, Cyber, and Telecom law website at http://spaceandtelecomlaw.unl.edu.
