We have recently added new files to the law library’s Hein Online subscription, and will soon be adding new law resources centers to BNA. Both electronic resources are easily accessible from the law library’s homepage: http://law.unl.edu/library.
In Hein Online we’ve added Spinelli’s Law Librarian’s Reference Shelf and the Intellectual Property Law Collection. Spinelli’s Law Librarian’s Reference Shelf provides access to legal dictionaries, legal bibliographies, state bibliographies and other resources. The Intellectual Property Law Collection provides access to legislative histories, treatises, periodicals and a variety of other intellectual property law resources.
In BNA we’re adding the Internet Law Resource Center and the Telecommunications Law Center. The Internet Law Resource Center covers criminal liability, freedom of speech, intellectual property, internet commerce & taxation, jurisdiction & procedure, privacy & security, and telecom & broadband. The Telecommunications Law Resource Center covers broadcasting, cable, broadband, telephony and wireless, communications environmental and law use law, as well as other topics. Both resource centers provide access to cases, laws, regulations, analysis and current news, as do the other BNA products. We hope to have email listserv access to both soon. In the interim, watch for their addition to the BNA page on the law library’s homepage.
If you have any questions about using these or any of the electronic resources available, please contact any of the reference librarians. We are always happy to answer any questions or provide instruction on the use of any of the resources.
