Housekeeping Reminders:
Fall Break
The law library will be open regular hours on Fall Break.
Quiet Please.
Quiet is expected throughout the entire library, but especially in certain areas where even the sound of crickets is not desired. The areas of special quiet are: the Tax Library on the second floor, the M. Brian Schmid Reading Room on the second floor, and the basement.
IRIS
When doing research, remember you can always consult the reference librarians. If a librarian is unavailable, please remember to use the online library resources catalog called "IRIS" to search for resources. You can access information in IRIS a number of ways, but one of the easiest is to go to the Schmid Law Library home page (http://law.unl.edu/library). There is a “Quick Catalog Search” box in the middle of the page, permitting you to search IRIS by keyword, subject, journal title, title or author. Accessing IRIS through the law library’s homepage also allows you to quickly scan and see if there are any announcements or new unique resources we've added for you.
Lost & Found
Missing something? Check with the circulation desk attendant to see if what you’re missing is in the library’s lost and found.
