Barrister's Ball will be held October 21st at the Holiday Inn - Downtown. Tickets will be sold this week, October 10-14, from noon until 1 p.m. in the student lounge. Tickets, including tax, are $27 for SBA members and $29 for non-SBA members. That ticket price includes dinner, dessert and drinks (beer, wine, soda, coffee, tea, water). Guests will also receive complimentary parking in the hotel’s parking garage.
When you purchase your tickets you will choose from the following dinner options:
1) Grilled Vegetables and Steamed Rice (Vegetarian Option)
A medley of grilled seasonal vegetables, chosen by the chef, on a bed of steamed rice. Dinner includes a salad of field greens, chef’s selection of sides, freshly baked roll with butter and a choice of carrot or chocolate cake.
2) Grilled Chicken:
Chicken breast marinated in fresh herbs and olive oil, grilled and served with a mushroom and caramelized onion sauce. Dinner includes a salad of field greens, chef’s selection of sides, freshly baked roll with butter and a choice of carrot or chocolate cake.
3) Pork Chop
Grilled and marinated center cut, bone-in, pork chop. Dinner includes a salad of field greens, chef’s selection of sides, freshly baked roll with butter and a choice of carrot or chocolate cake.
When you select your meal choice, please also specify whether you would prefer carrot or chocolate cake.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. with drinks being served from 7 – 7:30 p.m., and dinner will be served around 7:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available for those who wish to purchase cocktails and mixed drinks. A dance will follow the dinner and end at 1 a.m. Dress is semi-formal for this event. We will be collecting tickets at the door as well as checking the guest list to be sure that everyone in attendance throughout the evening has purchased a ticket to attend. Those not on the list will be asked to leave.
