While we are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel of the COVID-19 Pandemic, there will not be a 2021 Winter Maintenance Workshop and Skills Tests. Guidance from our administration on campus has put a lot of restrictions on large events. Limits on people in vehicles could also impact the way skills tests could be carried out.
As this event emphasizes networking among agencies and the skills tests, it has been decided to not hold a 2021 event. The WMW is one of our favorite annual activities, but safely hosting it within our guidelines isn't possible.
If agencies are interested in holding a local event, we would happily share skill test information and other aspects of the event that could still benefit staff on a local level.
