Each year Nebraska LTAP (and LTAP's all over the US) sponsor a competition to share your innovative solutions to make our work safer and more efficient or to do something in a way that costs less money. Share your ideas today for the 2023 Build a Better Mousetrap contest!
The Build a Better Mousetrap contest has existed for many years and aims to celebrate innovations as well as share them with other agencies to implement in their departments.
Entries can be something built in the shop, a process in workflow, an app, or any other tool developed in-house to make work better in some way. All entries will be submitted to the FHWA for inclusion in their annual Build a Better Mousetrap publication. One winner will be recognized at the Local Roads Conference in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in October.
