Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) Mentor for Highly Gifted Students
Lincoln Public Schools (LPS) is looking to hire mentors to work with students in all grades. An opportunity to mentor a student would be nice supplemental income, personally rewarding, and useful as an item on your resume when you graduate and apply for jobs. These mentor positions are also jobs that I know your fellow students have gotten and absolutely loved.
LPS is specifically looking for mentors in the following areas:
- Math
- Science
- English
- Social Studies
- World Language
- Visual Arts (K-5 only)
The minimum requirements of the mentor position are as follows:
- Junior or Senior status in college or have a Bachelor degree or above.
- Must have completed a minimum 15 semester credit hours in one or more of the six (6) areas listed above, with a subject G.P.A. of 3.5 or above.
- Cumulative 3.0 G.P.A. or above.
- Must be able to work during the school day when the student is in school.
