Lincoln Hour of Code
Join us for a morning full of coding activities and an interactive Tech Fair. The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify “code,” to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science, starting with 1-hour coding activities but expanding to all sorts of community efforts. For coding activities, please bring your own computing device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) if you have one available. A limited number of computing devices will be available for public use. A unique feature of Lincoln’s event is the Tech Fair, which features more than a dozen technology-focused booths, providing educational and interactive technologies and programs, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Robots, virtual reality and so much more—you won’t want to miss this! Please visit https://lnkhourofcode2019.eventbrite.com. #CSforGood #HourOfCode from Code.org
