Summer 2021 Camp Coordinator Position
The All Girls All Math (AGAM) Online Summer Camp is looking for an Undergraduate Coordinator to start in mid-March and work through the summer. Here are the details:
Job position: Undergraduate Coordinator for AGAM Online Summer Camp 2021
Eligibility: Undergraduate students at UNL
Responsibilities: Work with the staff in the Center for Science, Mathematics, and Computer Education (CSMCE) on the following things:
- Collect and compile online application files
- Communicate with applicants and parents (email and by phone)
- Prepare and update online documents for camp
- Act as Zoom chaperone and host with students throughout camp, including class times and evening networking activities (July 11-17, 2021)
- Other CSMCE office duties as assigned, including tasks for the faculty teaching online graduate mathematics courses for K-12 teachers
Work period: March 15 - July 23, 2021
- 5-10 hours per week from March to mid-May
- 25-40 hours per week from mid-May to July 23 (or so)
Work location: Remotely and in-person at the CSMCE, Avery 251 if needed
Payment: $10 per hour for work from March to July 11 (and again after the camp) and $15 per hour for the week of the camp (July 11-17)
