Math Directed Reading Program (DRP)
The Directed Reading Program (DRP) aims to pair students with graduate mentors to explore mathematical topics beyond the typical undergraduate curriculum.
The DRP offers a unique, informal setting where students can delve into topics through weekly meetings with their mentors. Over the course of the semester, participants dedicate approximately three hours each week to reading and discussing their chosen topic. At the end of the semester, they will present their findings to their peers in the program.
This is a great way to begin exploring Math outside of the classroom setting, and it has been a starting point to getting involved in research for a few students.
