Merck-PDMB Information Session and Lunch
We are excited to announce an upcoming Merck-PDMB info session on the UNL campus on Monday, September 16th! Maria Radu, MD/PhD, Principal Scientist within PDMB-Merck will be holding a seminar to share valuable insights on the company’s background, its mission, and the diverse career paths it offers. This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate, graduate students and postdocs in STEM fields who are interested in starting a pharmaceutical industry career.
While Dr. Radu's research does not deal specifically in Mathematics or Data Science, there are opportunities for Math and Data Science majors at all degree levels at Merck in her research area. If you are interested in a research career, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more!
Students will have the chance to engage face to face with Dr. Radu and gain valuable knowledge about potential internships, co-op programs, and full-time positions. Email maria.radu@merck.com if you'd like to meet the speaker in a small group or 1:1 setting.
We encourage all students who are passionate about pursuing a career in biopharmaceuticals to attend this exciting event and take advantage of this unique networking and learning opportunity.
