Peace Corps Information Session

Ms. Jessica Vandivort de Montiel, Recruiter, will be on campus from the Peace Corps for the Global Information Fair as a part of International Education Week. She will be hosting an information session about the Peace Corps on Thursday, November 15 from 5:00-6:30 pm in 827 Oldfather Hall.

As a grassroots international development organization, the Peace Corps provides technical assistance to countries that have requested it in a wide variety of volunteer positions throughout the world. The Peace Corps has science and math positions that are in high need right now.

Peace Corps Volunteer Opportunities

Ms. Vandivort de Montiel shared with me a few of the science and math positions that are accepting applications with a January 1st deadline, with departure dates ranging from July, August and September 2019.

These positions are all part of the Peace Corps' Early Apply Program. If you apply by December 1st, you will be notified of whether you have been selected for an interview no later than December 15th.
