DIGITAL HUMANITIES (DH) AFTERNOONS
Wednesday, Feb. 20th, 3:30-5pm, 228 Andrews Hall

DH Afternoons is a forum dedicated to supporting and celebrating the digital humanities work of students, staff and faculty on campus. Join us to learn about the exciting advancements the DH community is making here at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Dr. Heather Richards-Rissetto, assistant professor of anthropology, presents, “Keeping Data Alive.” Doctoral student in English, Jonathan Cheng, follows with “Text Mining Physical Characterization in 19th Century Novels.” Each DH Afternoon consists of a 20-25 minute presentation from a student or Center for Digital Research in the Humanities (CDRH) staff member, followed by another 20-25 minute presentation by a CDRH faculty fellow or affiliate. There is time for group discussion following the talks.
