CRITICAL: Math Day Volunteers Still Needed!
Hello!
The Math Department is still greatly in need of volunteers for Math Day on Thursday, November 17th this year and could really use your help! We would welcome volunteers for the whole day, but even an hour would be great!
Please sign up to volunteer for Math Day at https://mathdayvolunteers.unl.edu as soon as possible. After click the link and creating an account, you will need to click the “Login” button at the bottom of the webpage or “Volunteer” at the top of the webpage to start you volunteer application. Even if you can only help out for a short time, please sign up to contribute to a fun and meaningful experience for Nebraska High School Math students. If you have started the application but did not enter all of your information, or if your availability has changed, please update that information through the website as soon as possible.
Math Majors: Participation in Math Department events like Math Day will be considered when decisions are made about Math Department scholarship awards. So, volunteering for Math Day 2022 will be a factor in scholarship decisions for the 2023-24 academic year! Participation in Math Department events like Math Day can be considered when letters of recommendation are written as well.
