NOYCE @Drake is a scholarship opportunity for current or past STEM majors interested in teaching. The scholarship pays for classes and a stipend leading to a master's degree in STEM education. More details about the program including eligibility requirements are below.
What is NOYCE?
• NOYCE is a scholarship program for undergraduate STEM students or graduate students with STEM degrees who are interested in becoming K-12 licensed educators
• $23,000 for 18 months, resulting in a Master’s degree in education.
Who can Participate?
• You must be working towards or currently holding a STEM degree including accounting or computer science (Not including nursing or health sciences).
• You must have or have had a 2.75 GPA or higher from an accredited institution
• You must agree to teach in a high-needs school for 2 years. These schools may be anywhere in the country
