EAS Learning Awards Program
We are looking for applicants for the EAS Learning Awards Program this summer. This award is designed to give EAS undergraduate students an opportunity to develop external contacts in their field that will help them gain practical knowledge of that field prior to graduation. The intent is to give the student a jump-start on their career in a chosen field within the EAS curriculum.
Each recipient will meet at least five (5) times with a professional in their field (virtually or in person) at least five times over the summer. Upon completing these meetings and filing a brief report on the experience, the student will receive the $500 award. The number of awards made each semester will depend on available funding and the number of mentors participating.
