
Spring 2025 METR 491: Special Topics in Meteorology-Climatology: Numerical Modeling of the Atmosphere

Dr. Dixon still has seats available in his Spring 2025 METR 491 course, which will fulfill major requirements. This course is introduction to atmospheric numerical modeling. The last day to enroll in the course for the Spring 2025 semester will be Tuesday, January 28th!
Course Description: Introduction to atmospheric numerical modeling including an overview of the governing equations, their simplifications, and how they are coded in models.
Prerequisites: Differential Equations (MATH 221), Fluid Dynamics (e.g. METR 311, MECH 310), and/or permission of the instructor
