The Algebra Project recently announced the new name of the National Math Literacy Campaign—Math Makes Movement (or M3 for short)—and video providing an overview of the campaign.

Over the past year, the project has made the following strides:

  • Developing a prototype Digital Learning Lab
  • Organizing with five sites across Florida, New Jersey, Texas, Mississippi, and Georgia
  • Partnering with a wide network of organizations committed to advancing math literacy

Visit the campaign page to watch the video.

At the bottom of that page, users can share their perspective and help shape what comes next by responding to the Quarterly Question: "What would you need to see from a math literacy campaign to say that the campaign was successful?"

In the coming weeks and months, the Algebra Project will be sharing first looks at the Digital Learning Lab and early versions of their knowledge games. Feedback during this stage will be essential. Sign up for email updates including the Quarterly Newsletter and updates about the M3 campaign.
