Fall MTEP 2.0 Kick-Off Unconference

Kick off the 2025-2026 academic year with MTEP! In this session, we will outline opportunities and priorities for the coming year, including several exciting new initiatives that MTEP will be launching in 2025–2026. In addition, participants will also have an opportunity to interact with each other on self-selected topics using an engaging "unconference"* format.
*In an unconference, participants typically nominate and vote on topics for discussion, then hold concurrent discussions around the most popular topics.
MTEP Leadership Academy

Are you interested in building your leadership skills? Do you want to participate in a national network of people who are collaborating to improve mathematics education? In short, are you ready to join the next generation of leadership for MTEP and beyond?
If so, you may be interested in the MTEP Leadership Academy, a new initiative of the MTEP 2.0 network. We are currently gathering information about who may be interested in participating and getting their input on the format, timing, and intensity of the academy. For example:
- When will the academy launch? In August, later in the fall, in the spring or next summer?
- How often will it meet? Will it include in-person meetings, either in conjunction with the AMTE Conference or as a stand-alone event?
- What should be expected between meetings to help participants reach their goals?
- Should it include a leadership certification or micro-credentials?
