One of the powerful features of a multi-institutional networked improvement community (NIC) like MTEP is the possibility to learn from and with each other. In addition to the interactions among our members at MTEP convening and events, collecting data from local MTEP team NICs is an important way to generate shared knowledge across the network. Here are just a few examples that have been shared in the the newsletter:

  • We have compiled insights from the Program Progress Survey, which may help your team think about their overall progress. Reminder for program leaders: This year’s Program Progress Survey is due May 29!
  • We summarized the data from the Program Completers Survey over several years, which may help your team think about your team’s progress with recruiting. (Note: Program Completers data collection is now incorporated into the annual Program Progress Survey).
  • We have examined commonalities among driver diagrams across programs to stimulate your thinking of what is possible.
  • We have also analyzed the PDSA cycles being undertaken across MTEP, including compiling them into a massive database of PDSA cycles that you can peruse. That article also includes links to other resources related to PDSA cycles.
  • Finally, we have compiled Partnership Profiles for each team based on multiple data points.
In order to be able to create these resources, it is important that teams contribute their data to the analysis. As MTEP’s data collection season is underway, we encourage team and program leaders to participate. Let your voice be heard!

Team and program leaders can contact Meghan Leadabrand at mleadabrand2@unl.edu with questions about the annual Program Progress and Team Report Surveys. The Program Progress Survey was distributed to program leaders on April 1 and is due May 29; the Team Report Survey will be distributed to team leaders on May 1 and is due June 30.
