Faculty researchers who have/had NCESR funding, please encourage all graduate and undergraduate student researchers on your project(s) to present a poster. The poster sessions are on April 15 (Engineering and Physical Sciences) and April 16 (Arts and Humanities, Education, Business, Social Sciences, Life Sciences). It allows students to showcase their research or creative work, communicate their results and learn about other research and creative activities. The deadline to register is March 14, 2025.

If you have a student(s) who plan to present a poster regarding research on an Energy Center-funded project, please email both Sue Wesely at swesely4@unl.edu and Brenda Coufal at brenda.coufal@unl.edu the following information:
1. student’s name,
2. indicate if they are an undergraduate or graduate student,
3. student’s email, and
4. poster title

We will give each student related to an NCESR project a certificate and ask them to take a picture with our NCESR Director, Associate Director, NPPD Liaison(s) and sponsoring faculty if available.

One of the questions the registration form will ask, “Is there additional information we should know about your presentation?” If the poster is related to an NCESR project, please indicate it is when answering the question. Providing this information will help the organizers assign all posters relating to NCESR in one location.

Students registered in the competition category and whose posters are deemed outstanding by faculty judges will receive a monetary award.

If you have any questions for NCESR staff, please contact Sue Wesely at swesely4@unl.edu or Brenda Coufal at brenda.coufal@unl.edu.

Questions about the poster session registration can be emailed to Lisa Rohde at lrohde2@unl.edu (graduate students) or Kali Patterson at kpatterson2@unl.edu (undergraduate students).
