Lincoln STEM Ecosystem: 2020 State of STEM

In 2019, the city of Lincoln joined the STEM Learning Ecosystem Community of Practice, which serves an estimated 40 million students globally, and 2020 marked our second year as LNKSE. The year could have been a stumbling block for us, but instead, we redoubled our efforts so we could continue to maximize our partnerships and resources to enhance STEM in Lincoln.

From working with local elementary schools, connecting industry and education, bringing STEM into the homes of students, and planning our second reverse pitch, 2020 was still a busy and productive year for LNKSE.

This report serves to take stock of where we have been in 2020, which indicates the future direction as we move into 2021. Although we are just beginning our journey, we hope that by building awareness of the meaning of these efforts you will see yourself benefitting from LNKSE and contribute to this effort.
