Join dedicated math and science educators from across Nebraska for an exciting opportunity to lead from within. The third Nebraska Summit on Math and Science Education will assemble teacher, district, and state leaders in math and science education to discuss priorities, successful models, and strategies for more inclusive programming and meet with local and national educational leaders. https://scimath.unl.edu/summit2022/
The conference is in response to greater attention focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM education and will support Nebraska PK–12 teacher-leaders in producing culturally relevant curriculum and enacting responsive practices that support all students.
The Summit will be held in-person on Monday, Feb. 21, 2022, at UNL's Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center, 2021 Transformation Drive in Lincoln. Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases, space will be limited at the conference. Chairs will be spaced out, and masks are required.
A conference pre-session will take place on Sunday evening, Feb. 20, at the Embassy Suites.
