Open SciEd Training, June 4-5

OpenSciEd offers High Quality Instructional Materials for K-12 educators. This training will support teachers in understanding the shifts called for by the Nebraska College & Career Standards for Science through the OpenSciEd materials, approach, and pedagogy. Day one will focus on the student experience and how teachers can empower learners by serving as facilitators of the learning process. Day two will focus on navigating the materials and prepare teachers to implement their first OpenSciEd unit. This training will use the free open education resource of OpenSciEd, though we will discuss options available through vendors. Register.
