Discover the science behind our planet’s weather and climate—and learn how to bring it alive in your classroom—with GEOS 898: Weather, Climate, and Climate Change, offered through the Nebraska Math and Science Summer Institutes (NMSSI). This hands-on course equips you with engaging experiments, real-world observations, and ready-to-use resources. Leave with the confidence to teach your students about weather, climate, and climate change.

GEOS 898 is designed for 6th-12th grade teachers. The course will be offered via web conferencing (via Zoom) from July 7-11. The course will meet from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. CDT each day (with breaks).
