
Feb. 17-18 at UNL School of Natural Resources
Got students interested in working with natural resources? UNL School of Natural Resources is offering the perfect opportunity for high school or transfer students to explore career options that deal with conservation and resource management. Over two days, students will learn about natural resource academic programs at UNL and connect with a variety of career professions from 20 different agencies.
Agenda for February 17 (Day 1):
- 1 - 2 PM: Optional East Campus tour
- 1:30 - 2 PM: Students and families arrive to Hardin Hall. All activities take place in Hardin.
- 2-3 PM: Learn about our major programs in SNR (HARH 107)
- 3-4 PM: Presentation for parents from Financial Aid or Admissions. Students will have the opportunity to visit with researchers in SNR and learn more about ways students can be involved in research projects.
- 4-6 PM: Mixer on the second floor lobby of Hardin Hall. Meet faculty, staff, students, alumni, and future employers!
Agenda for February 18 (Day 2):
- 10 AM - 2 PM: Browse and meet future employers during our Career Expo
- 12 - 1 PM: Employer panel discussion
