The Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership is offering a Job Relations supervisor development course online, free of charge, to better equip all Nebraska manufacturers facing the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis. The three-hour course will be facilitated live in two parts on April 9 and 16, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
“Job Relations is designed to improve employee and supervisor relationships,” explains Matt Allmand, director of the Nebraska MEP. “This is a challenging time for all, and this is one of the many resources the Nebraska MEP has to help improve manufacturing operations. Making this course available online for free at this time, is the right thing to do.”
The webinar contains much of the same instructional content that the Nebraska MEP has facilitated onsite for individual companies across Nebraska. Multiple regional sessions started with Scottsbluff on February 27. Future onsite sessions at manufacturing offices in Kearney, Columbus, Omaha and Lincoln have been postponed.
“The Nebraska MEP is here to assist Nebraska manufacturing in any way we can,” says Allmand, “In addition to the resources that the National MEP network offers, we want to be your local go-to experts to help you through this difficult time.”
