Daily challenges facing manufacturers involve making key decisions, solving complex problems and setting up operations with best practices. The Nebraska MEP is offering 1-day workshops to help manufacturers do just that with both "Problem Solving" and "5S - The Visual Workplace". Workshops will be held in both Lincoln and Omaha. They are ideal learning opportunities for small to midsize companies to send one or several employees.
Problem Solving provides participants will proven tools and methods to solve complex problems and outlines the circumstances that best fit each method. Workshops will be held October 11 in Lincoln and October 12 in Omaha.
5S - The Visual Workplace uses Lean principles to organize the workplace and production to cut waste and minimize risk. Workshops will be held November 8 in Lincoln and November 9 in Omaha.
Both topics are also components of our on-site, supervisor development Six-Pack training for larger groups.
