Warrior Writers is launching its 9th year of writing workshops for local vets and families. The program was recently featured on Channel 3 news. A partnership between Humanities Nebraska, the VA, and NeWP, Warrior Writers invites vets to experience the power of writing and connect with world-class authors through free programming. All levels of writing experience are warmly welcomed, and people can join anytime! Please consider sharing this information with any veterans who might be interested.
Warrior Writers meets every other week on Saturday mornings in Lincoln and Omaha, with the option to participate via Zoom. This year, new facilitator Terri Dimon joins seasoned Warrior Writers facilitator Tom Seib to coordinate the Lincoln workshops, and experienced leaders Jen Stastny and Cindy Cronn are continuing to guide the Omaha group. Participants have the opportunity to share and provide feedback on writing in a friendly environment, engage in workshops led by published writers, and connect with other local vets.
